Epic Church App on Pushpay: How to close your account?

This article provides instructions for closing your Pushpay account.
Closing vs Merging AccountsIf you are looking to close your personal Pushpay account, you will need to submit a ticket to our Support Team. Additionally, please be aware that once your account has been closed, you will no longer be able to access the Pushpay portal (which includes your transaction history, previous giving statements, and more).

Note: If you purposely or accidentally created a new Pushpay account and are looking to close your old one, please note that merging the two (old and new) accounts is the best option in this situation. Merging the accounts (as opposed to closing one) will ensure all of your Giving history will be housed in your new account correctly.

To request an account merge, you can reach out to your organization, or contact our support team. When submitting a ticket to close your Pushpay account, please ensure you include the following information:Your name Your email address The phone number associated with your account

A description that lets the team know how they can help

Things to RememberClosing your Pushpay account will not stop or modify any payments that have already been successfully submitted.

Tip: If you are looking to cancel/need a refund on a payment, please contact your organization directly.Closing your Pushpay account will stop any recurring or scheduled future payments that were active on the account at the time of closing
