Admin Support

Description: 

  • Epic Church is looking for an administrative assistant who is driven to work with excellence and integrity in a fast paced environment. If you excel in the following areas and enjoy doing them, you may just be right for this role:

Responsibilities: 

  • Schedule meetings.
  • Attend meetings (when requested) with the pastors and follow up on projects and events. Document action steps and filter them to the appropriate people.
  • Communicate with staff, volunteers, and the specific individuals in the congregation on behalf of the pastors. 
  • Assist the pastors in tracking expenses, including turning in receipts and coding them to the proper category.
  • Manage the calendars of the pastors and input events on the master calendar of the church.
  • Order food for events.
  • Work with other staff members at the discretion of the pastors.
  • Coordinate travel for pastors.
  • Handle outgoing mail, and receive and organize incoming mail.
  • Order supplies.
  • Workflow follow-up.

Video Storyteller

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage all video related creative content activities, including:
    • lead video story-telling planning and execution
    • interviews, event recaps, and promotional campaigns
  • Assist the pastoral team and other ministry directors with any video related creative and communication needs as requested.
  • Assist the Communications Director with developing sermon series concepts
  • Research and implement best practices from other churches.
  • Train Creative Team volunteers and as the the needs for additional support grows
  • Project Management: 
    • Coordinate weekly video related creative project management for sermon series, campaigns, and event promotions to help achieve church goals and objectives
    • Collaborate with other creative team members (in-house, volunteers, agencies) to create content aligned with church goals.
    • Ensure timely execution of video related creative projects

Qualifications and Characteristics 

  • Experience in video production (filming and editing).
  • Minimum 3 year in marketing or creative roles.
  • Experience working with volunteers.
  • Understanding of all current technical requirements for highest quality video production
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Experience with video editing software applications (Final Cut, Adobe Premier Pro)
  • Creative thinker with analytical skills for strategy and recommendations.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Proficiency in developing video driven marketing content and material
