Bessie Carmichael is the only public school located in the SoMa neighborhood. The school educates almost 700 children, Kindergarten through 8th grade, on two campus. Epic began this partnership in October 2010 and has maintained it through resourcing teachers and students and staffing a weekly food pantry on campus.
